Tea & Symphony Concert Series

The ASO presents a series of one hour concerts of popular classics, complete with tea and scones to follow. Featuring the talents of the ASO’s own, including David Sharp these concerts provide a classical matinee experience for any music student.

Wind Quintet

The ASO’s wind Quintet will be available to visit high schools throughout to year to provide music student with an up close experience with professional musicians. Bookings available throughout the year.

Open Rehearsals

The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra is pleased to be able to offer groups and individuals the chance to sit in on selected final rehearsals for “Master” Series concerts.
Each rehearsal is held at the venue for the concert and incorporates a talk by visiting conductors, soloists or ASO players. Attendees then sit in on the first half of the rehearsal. In addition, background notes on the music are provided.

 

Community, educational and retirement groups are very welcome – but bookings are essential. A small fee is charged to cover costs.

Pre-Concert Talks

To add to your concert experience, why not turn up an hour earlier and sit in on a pre-concert talk? These talks are held prior to every Master Series concert and are free. Discover new and interesting background information on your favourite pieces of music, composers and Orchestra!


The talks are presented by ASO players, music educators and occasionally - conductors. The thirty minute presentation will leave you in eager anticipation of your Master Series concert!
