ASO Big Rehearsals

Ever wondered what it is like to rehearse in a professional orchestra?

Back by popular demand, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra welcomes young music students into Grainger Studio for a rehearsal, with a twist!

Under the baton of Australian treasure, Richard Gill AO, students will rehearse a variety of repertoire while sitting right next to members of the ASO.

At the end of the rehearsal, there will be a special concert giving family and friends the opportunity to see what has been achieved in just 2.5 hours.

Just like members of the ASO, students will receive practice parts only a few weeks prior to the rehearsal. This is a great introductory experience to the orchestra and is highly recommended for budding classical musicians.

In 2017, we'll be holding ASO Big Rehearsals with Richard Gill:

Thu 17 Aug    Level: Intermediate 1
Fri 18 Aug      Level: Intermediate 2
Sat 19 Aug     Junior
