About Natsuko Yoshimoto
One of Australia’s most sought after violinists, Natsuko was appointed role of Concertmaster in 2009. Born in Japan, Natsuko began playing violin at the age of three and won a full scholarship to study at the Yehudi Menuhin School in England under Lord Menuhin and Wen Zhou Li when she was eleven. She continued her studies at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with a distinction in 1998.
Natsuko has received many prestigious international awards and has appeared with many world renowned orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia (London), Halle Orchestra, Odense Symphony (Denmark), Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic, Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa and Hong Kong Sinfonietta.
