Christmas Gift Guide

There’s something for everyone in our 2020 Season, and we’ve taken the guesswork out of gift-giving so you can get all your last-minute gifts sorted all at once!

For Mum

RESPECT: The Music of Aretha Franklin

We’ll be exploring the incredible back catalogue of the Queen of Soul herself for two nights at Festival Theatre! Starring Kate Ceberano and Mahalia Barnes, with more performers to be announced.

For Dad

Classical Hits

Leading us through some of the most popular music in the repertoire, and with plenty of dad-jokes included, Dad is sure to love Guy Noble and Classical Hits in June.

For Grandma

Messiah

Messiah has become a Christmas tradition, surveying hope, suffering, death, resurrection and redemption, and featuring some of the most famous choral and vocal melodies of all time.

For Grandpa

Big Hits of the Small Screen

A night of memories and delight as we play the iconic TV themes that have worked their way from our lounge rooms and into our hearts, from The Simpsons to Doctor Who and Skippy the Bush Kangaroo.

For Yourself

The Meditation Series: Silence

Indulge in an experience unlike any other this Valentines Day. With the opportunity to recline on a yoga mat in near darkness while the ASO performs, this 60 minute event is performed with no interval, no applause, and no distraction

For the little kids

The Bush Concert

Spark an interest in music for the little ones in your life. Helga Visser’s picture book classic is set to music as the instruments of the ASO explore all the bird sounds of the Australian bush.

For the bigger kids

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

Darth Vader readies the second Death Star while Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, C-3PO and Princess Leia free Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, all while your ASO perform the full score live!

For a student

Live Pass Membership

For only $50, full-time students aged 15+ can attend every Master Series or Classics Unwrapped concert in 2020, where capacity allows.

Still can’t decide?

Allow them to decide which concert they’d like to attend with an ASO gift voucher! You can decide on the amount, and gift vouchers are redeemable for the majority of our concerts.

To ensure your tickets or voucher are with you in time for Christmas, visit our box office at 91 Hindley St, Adelaide, Mon – Fri 10-4, where we can print your tickets or voucher on the spot. We’re open right until Christmas Eve!
