ASO Plays James Bond
Fri 15 & Sat 16 February, 7.30pm
Festival Theatre

ASO: What is your favourite James Bond movie?

iOTA: I’d have to say Moonraker.. I loved anything to do with space back in 1979… and shiny things… and the Moonraker promo poster is VERY shiny.

Who is your favourite James Bond actor, and why is he your favourite?

Roger Moore because he was my first… when I think of James Bond I see Rogers face… and he had a certain camp, cheesy charm to him… although I think we call it creepy these days.

Who is your favourite James Bond villain, and why do you like/dislike him/her?

Richard Kiel as Jaws… probably because he was my first Bond villain/henchman.. he’s big and ugly with shiny teeth… what’s not to love?

What is your favourite Bond song, and why do you love it?

Goldfinger springs to mind… it’s so powerful… a great performance by Shirley Bassey

Do you prefer your martini shaken or stirred?

Unfortunately I’m not really a fan of the martini!

And finally, what is the James Bond song you’d most like to sing and why?

You Only Live Twice… because I have sang it once before and did a terrible job of it… I’d like the opportunity to redeem myself.
