International Women's Day is observed on 8 March every year, celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The theme for 2019 is #BalanceforBetter, with a specific aim to build a gender-balanced world, and calls for collective action and shared responsibility. By celebrating the presence of balance and challenging it's absence - year round, not isolated to this one day - we help to bring everyone closer to equality.

With this in mind, we'd like to celebrate the new Chair of our Board of Directors, Kate Gould.
