Graham Abbott - Conductor
Carlie Angel - Dancer
Young Adelaide Voices

This family concert is part of our 2018 Festival of Learning

A brand new ASO commission by Paul Rissmann based the glorious picture book What do you do with an idea? by Kobi Yamada and illustrated by Mae Besom. Experience this New York Times best seller which has now been translated into over 20 languages brought to life in this unique orchestral theatre experience.

It’s the story of one brilliant idea and the child who helps to bring it into the world. As the child’s confidence grows, so does the idea itself. And then, one day, something amazing happens.

This magical World Premiere, complete with dancer, a 140 voice children's choir and the full Adelaide Symphony Orchestra is a uniquely immersive orchestral theatre experience, exploring the importance of creativity and imagination and how young people have the power to change the world.

MEET THE AUTHOR - Kobi Yamada will be at this World Premiere, and after the concert books will be available on sale and the author will be signing copies.
