Sarah Bleby joined the ASO team in 2019. She has worked on major events in Japan and Qatar, arts advocacy projects in Mongolia, and numerous festivals and cultural policy initiatives in Australia. As a core member of the Adelaide Festival Centre’s programming team for nine years, Sarah led music programs across all genres, and produced the Adelaide Guitar Festival alongside Artistic Director Slava Grigoryan. Prior to her appointment with the ASO, Sarah was a Senior Adviser, Policy and Programs at Arts South Australia. She has been a chorister since childhood, a music programmer for Drive on ABC Classic, and she compiled the successful submission for Adelaide to be designated as UNESCO City of Music in 2015.
