Adelaide Town Hall

The Adelaide Town Hall is one of the primary venues in which the ASO performs. Visiting conductors and soloists often remark on its beautiful acoustic and intimate connection to audiences.

Only 3 minutes walk from Adelaide Town Hall. Exit the carpark south onto Waymouth Street, head east and cross King William Street. Book online for $8 after 4pm (Mon – Fri) or for $7 on weekends.

Did you know?

The Adelaide Town Hall holds a celebrity in its own right – the $1.3 million Walker & Sons Organ. Organists from around the world relish the opportunity to play the organ, which at the time of installation in 1990, was the largest mechanical action instrument built in the UK in a century. Local materials including Tea Tree Gully freestone and Dry Creek bluestone feature prominently throughout the design. Read more
