Adelaide Town Hall
The Adelaide Town Hall is one of the primary venues in which the ASO performs. Visiting conductors and soloists often remark on its beautiful acoustic and intimate connection to audiences.

The Adelaide Town Hall is located at 128 King William St, Adelaide, 5000. We look forward to welcoming you to one of our concerts here soon.
Seating
Adelaide Town Hall seating is divided into three areas: Stalls, Dress Circle and Gallery.
Check individual concerts for seating reserves and pricing.
Access to the Gallery is via stairs up from the foyer on level three (3). There are a minimum of three (3) stairs up to Row H and a maximum of 25 stairs up to Row O. The foyer on level three can be accessed via lift or stairs.
Access to the Dress Circle is via stairs down from the foyer on level three (3). There are a minimum of three (3) stairs down to Row G and a maximum of 15 steps down to Row A.
Access to the Stalls is via the foyer on level two (2). There are no steps in the stalls, and the foyer on level two can be accessed via lift, or 32 stairs from the ground floor.
Wheelchair seating is available in the stalls. Check individual concerts for seat map, but most commonly wheelchair seating is located in Rows F, L, P & X.

UPark Topham Mall
Only 3 minutes walk from Adelaide Town Hall. Exit the carpark south onto Waymouth Street, head east and cross King William Street. Book online for $8 after 4pm (Mon – Fri) or for $7 on weekends.

When the scaffolding comes down mid 2025 there is accessible parking (limited available in front of the Adelaide Town Hall on King William Street.

Paved footpath.
Is there signage or way-finding to look out for?
We have a digital sign on Ground Floor that will display the name of any events taking place at Adelaide Town Hall that day.

No stairs or steps but slightly raised.

Lift on Ground Floor to take people to all levels.

Getting information and/or assistance inside the venue
Where is the Box Office located?
Ground Floor (Box Office is not managed by Adelaide Town Hall staff – it is solely managed by the client on the day as ticket sales is the responsibility of the hirer).
Is there an information assistant available?
No – but Ushers are on for each show. There is also a security desk on the Ground Floor as you enter Adelaide Town Hall.
Where is First Aid located?
First Aid Box in Venue Office.
Is there a communication board available?
No.
Is the venue a Companion Card affiliate?
No, but all ASO events are!

Bright in the Foyer. Lighting in the Auditorium depends on the requirement from the client.
