Support

Great cities have great orchestras and, being no exception, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra is acclaimed nationally and internationally for its quality performances and outstanding recordings. To continue its high standard of concerts and diversity of repertoire the ASO needs your help.

Each year, we rely upon the difference that you, as a private individual, can make to ensure that we can continue to deliver performances that inspire, thrill and engage, in a variety of genres to suit the various appetites of our concertgoers.

We, in turn, are inspired by the feedback we receive from the South Australian community – the people in hospital, the children in schools, the first-time concert goer, and our loyal subscribers. Your donation helps us to not only present concerts in the Adelaide Town Hall and Festival Theatre, but to go into schools, libraries, the Mary Potter Hospice, and the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

We are currently striving to build one of the strongest, most innovative learning and outreach projects in Australia which aims to reach people of all ages through creative programming and new technologies. Your generosity is muchneeded to help the ASO continue to provide and develop great free and low cost programs which engage our young audience and, most importantly, help us to build new audiences of the future.

There are many ways to donate to the ASO and specific programs to donate to. For example, you could make an annual donation or a long term pledge commitment; give a significant gift, or a bequest to secure the ASO’s future.

Our new program, Musical Chairs, allows you to sponsor a musician and get to learn more about what inspires them. Opportunities range from $2,500 to $5,000.

To discuss specific donation programs, please contact the ASO’s Director of Development, Vicky Lekis on (08) 8233 6260 or lekisv@aso.com.au, or simply  follow the links on this website to donate now, or click here.

Gifts over $2 are tax deductible, and all sums over $250 are acknowledged in our Master Series Concert Program books.
