Much loved Australian young person’s author Alison Lester’s book Are We There Yet? comes to life through music in this brand new ASO performance. Students and teachers will be taken on an adventure with Grace and her family as they follow their trip around Australia.
At times funny, at times heartwarming, this new production with music by Adelaide composer David John Lang shines a light on the diversity of our nation, our amazing flora and fauna and the incredible landscapes unique to our island home.

Cost $100 per school for one teacher and resource pack. $50 per additional teacher.

Learn songs from the production in order to teach them to your students in the classroom prior to the incursion. Workshop attendance is compulsory for at least one teacher from each school. Professional Learning certificates and resource materials will be provided for all attending teachers.
Free Pre-Concert Talks
Discover more about the music with Classical Conversations, our free pre-concert talks before each Symphony Series concert. Enjoy relaxed discussions where artists, conductors, composers, and ASO players share personal insights about the music. Classical Conversations occur one hour prior to each concert in the stalls of the Adelaide Town Hall.
