Hosted and conducted by the ever-entertaining Martin Butler, there is a lot to listen to in this one hour long free family friendly concert given by the state’s finest string players.

Beethoven’s Ode To Joy receives an unusual take with Brian Balmages Ode to a Joy Ride. Experience the charm of Morricone’s Cinema Paradiso and learn how to conduct in 7 or even how to play the violin as a soloist with the ASO – don’t worry it’s easy! Listen to the violins fight it out in Peter Martin’s Vivaldiana or a medieval battle scene in Soon Hee Newbold’s Battle.

Join us for a delightful day out with friends and family as an ensemble of talented string players fill the air with beautiful symphonic melodies, right in the comfort of your own community. There’s limited spaces available so book your free ticket now.
