Bequests

The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra considers it an enormous privilege to be recognised with a gift in your will. Leaving a bequest will ensure that your love of music lives on, enabling future generations to also experience and be moved by live orchestral music.

It is an enduring way to celebrate the role music has played in your life and will provide significant financial support for the ASO, ensuring that South Australia retains a world class orchestra.

Suggested Wording

We recommend that you discuss your wishes with your family first and seek legal advice when making a will. The following wording may be used in consultation with your lawyer.

"I give to the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra Pty Ltd Appeal Fund [the sum of $... / ...% of my estate / ...% of the rest and residue of my estate] to be used for its general purposes. A receipt from the Managing Director or other authorised officer will be sufficient discharge to my executor or trustees."

If you wish to leave a bequest for a particular purpose, please contact us first to discuss your intentions.
