Adelaide Entertainment Centre
The Adelaide Entertainment Centre is one of the primary venues for ASO concerts – especially film projects – as the venue has enough room to house giant screen, a stage full of musicians while enabling good sight lines for audiences.

The tram is the cheapest and most convenient way to get to and from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre as services between the city and the venue are free of charge and operate frequently. The tram station is located immediately in front of the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Click here for details on tram timetables.
Parking
The Adelaide Entertainment Centre has more than 1,400 car park spaces available on site . Entry/Exit is via Mary Street, Manton Street or Adam Street. $15 parking fee applies for event parking. Please allow for possible delays on exiting the car park after major events.

Getting to the venue
Is there accessible car parking available?
Adelaide Entertainment Centre offers a number of designated accessible parking spaces (known as blue bays) close to main entry points. These are clearly identified by the accessibility symbol, which is painted on the ground.
For events/concerts, accessible parking must be pre-booked by phoning the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on (08) 8208 2222. Please have your car registration and Disability Parking Permit number ready when calling.
Please note, accessible parking is subject to availability at time of booking. A $18 entry fee per vehicle is applicable for concerts/events, payable upon arrival at the car park entry. A valid Disability Parking Permit must be clearly displayed on vehicles at all times, either hanging from the rearview mirror or on the passenger side of the dashboard.
Is there a designated drop off area?
Patrons with reduced mobility are welcome to be dropped by the entrance closest to their ticketed door number. To arrange this access, please speak to our Gate staff on arrival and they will direct you accordingly.
Is the venue accessible by public transport?
The Bowden train station is located approximately 150 metres from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Port Road, with easy pedestrian access.
There are a number of bus stops located within close proximity (50 – 80 metres) to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Bus routes directly passing the Centre include 115, 150 and 157.
Taxi ranks are located on both sides of Port Road in close proximity to the main Adelaide Entertainment Centre entry.
The Adelaide Entertainment Centre offers bicycle parking rails at the front of the venue, providing opportunity for cyclists to secure their bikes.
What is the terrain to the venue entrance like, are there any obstacles?
Wheelchair access is available at all external entry points to the Arena at Ground Level. Wheelchair access to the Theatre is available at Door 1 (Ground Level) and via Door 3, Door 4 and Door 5 by way of the disabled ramp which services the Theatre Terrace.

Not to accessibility areas – there are no steps.

Flat Ground access is available.

Hard flat surface paving external and carpet internal.
Getting information and/or assistance inside the venue
Where is the Box Office located?
Ticket sales and collections can be made at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Ticket Office.
It is located parallel to Port road at the front of the venue.
Is there an information assistant available?
Yes – all AVM staff are available to provide information.
Where is First Aid located?
The Adelaide Entertainment Centre has dedicated first aid facilities onsite, including defibrillators.
The Arena has first aid rooms adjacent to Doors 1 and 12 at Foyer Level, and another located at Arena Floor Level.
The Theatre has a first aid room located in its Foyer.
Qualified first aid staff are readily available, with St John’s Ambulance staff in attendance at most concerts.

Is there a communication board available?
No.
Is the venue a Companion Card affiliate?
The Adelaide Entertainment Centre is an affiliate of the Companion Card Program.
Companion Card bookings can be made by completing an Accessible Seating Booking Form or phoning 1300 665 915.

Getting to your seat
Are the doors throughout the venue and into the theatre open and wheelchair accessible?
The Adelaide Entertainment Centre offers accessible seating (wheelchair and mobility restricted seating) in both the Arena and Theatre, along with seating for accompanying companions.
Patrons with sight impairment who do not wish to sit in general seating areas may also purchase seats in this area.

Is there an Auslan interpreter available?
Provided by event hirers from time to time.
Does the venue offer Assistive Listening Systems?
Patrons who require hearing assistance can purchase seats in any area of the Arena or Theatre and have access to an FM audio system. Simply bring your analog FM receiver/headset and tune into 88.3FM for events in the Arena or 88.1FM for events in the Theatre.
Vision
What is the lighting in the venue like?
Very bright LED in foyers, arena internal has ambient house lighting for way finding that can be dimmed for show presentations where lighting is controlled by the show productions.
Does the venue use strobe lights?
The venue does not. Show productions can use strobe lighting. All entry points have strobe lighting warning in place.
Is braille available, and if so, where and what for?
Yes for toilet directional signage.
Is large print signage or print media offered?
Digital media platforms are used and print media is used by hirers from time to time.
Do performances offer captioning (e.g closed or open captioning)?
No.
Accessing Water and Food
Is drinking water available and where? Is it free of cost?
Yes all bar outlets for tap water and water stations are positioned throughout the foyers.
Is there food available for purchase?
All onsite food and beverage outlets in both the Arena and Theatre are accessible via wheelchair.
Assistance Animals
Does the venue have an area assistance animals can go for toileting?
Exterior of venue.
Does the venue have water available for assistance animals?
The Adelaide Entertainment Centre welcomes registered service animals, including trained guide, hearing and assistance dogs. A water bowl is available at the Arena Cloak Room.
