Get ready to meet the orchestra – with Sammy J as your guide!
Everyone should feel welcome to experience the joy of live music. Our Relaxed Concerts offer a more flexible and inclusive way to experience the ASO, with adjusted lighting and sound, a relaxed approach to audience movement and sensory-friendly break-out spaces. Designed to welcome everyone, these performances may be particularly suitable for people on the autism spectrum, those with sensory sensitivities, vision or hearing impairments, and people with learning disabilities.
Benjamin Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra puts every section of the ASO in the spotlight, from soaring strings and bold brass to wonderful woodwinds and powerful percussion.
With Sammy J leading the way, discover the personalities and sounds that make up an orchestra, meet the musicians
behind the music and hear what happens when they all come together.
Big sounds, brilliant musicians and plenty of fun – the perfect way for the whole family to discover the orchestra.
