Welcome to Bohemia: a musical world of vivid stories, colourful characters and rich folk traditions. Across three concerts, discover a place where music, theatre and storytelling collide.

Mozart was a celebrity in Prague and dedicated his Symphony No.38 to the city and its residents. Stamitz‘s Symphony in D thunders with the excitement of a hunt, as horses rumble and brass bray with triumph. Love, death, and magic prevail in Mahler’s Des Knaben Wunderhorn: regal trumpets herald a ghostly parade, as the rich baritone of Morgan Pearse plunges us into a world of nocturnal visions.

This concert series is generously supported by Pamela and the late Peter McKee.
