About
Westlake, Lior, Grigoryan and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra
As one of our most celebrated and revered composers, Nigel Westlake’s rich contribution to the worlds of classical and contemporary music span more than 30 years. Now these two worlds come together for one night only in a special Adelaide Guitar Festival celebration of world premieres and old favourites.
Joined on stage by multi award-winning musician Lior and his band, the musical prowess of festival Artistic Director Slava Grigoryan, his brother Leonard and the might of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra come together for an evening of collaborative performance. Beginning with Westlake’s world-renowned Antarctica Suite with Slava as soloist, followed by a showcase of Lior’s favourite and most celebrated songs as well as a brand-new composition by Westlake featuring the Grigoryan Brothers, don’t miss your chance to share in this intimate and unmissable event.
