- Elder Hall Location
Make space in your week for extraordinary music.
A mid-week escape to Elder Hall offers something special. With just over 600 seats, you’re close to the musicians and immersed in the hall’s warm, resonant sound. Enjoy the concert, then linger over lunch or take a wander through the city. A beautiful afternoon, with great music at its centre.
A concert of light. A promenade through music that finds wonder in simplicity. Byström’s A Walk to Beethoven’s First Symphony is exactly that – what if you could take a wander through your favourite symphony? It meanders into Mozart’s Flute Concerto No.2, a work that sparkles with sweet elegance, performed by ASO Principal Flautist, Kim Falconer. And then, Poulenc’s Sinfonietta opens with a whip-crack of timpani, followed by a parade of witty musical characters.
