- Elder Hall Location
Make space in your week for extraordinary music.
A mid-week escape to Elder Hall offers something special. With just over 600 seats, you’re close to the musicians and immersed in the hall’s warm, resonant sound. Enjoy the concert, then linger over lunch or take a wander through the city. A beautiful afternoon, with great music at its centre.
Two lovers make their way through a foreboding forest. Violins shimmer; the shadows creep and crawl through a richly romantic sound world. The pair share a dark secret, and Schoenberg paints their spectacular journey from uncertain gloom to prevailing devotion beneath the iridescent moonlight. Some of Beethoven‘s most soul-stirring music reimagined by Brett Dean sets the scene and a concert inspired by that purest of human emotions: love.
